Teaching in Korea

I have just been asked to renew my contract and is considering it.The school has been great to teach at and the kids are mostly eager to learn.I wonder if back in South Africa this will be the case.The aim was to come here and learn how the education system operates in order to go back and apply the same principles back home.I have found that the Korean kids study hard because their existence as a nation depends on it.The only resource they have except for some coal in Gangwon province is their human resources.I was at times amazed to see little ones late at night arriving from private schools,dropped by minibusses.Not only is it safe for them to travel at this late hour,but it is expected.
